EVENT, RENTAL & CUSTOM BUILDS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Prepayment Policy
Events
- A non-refundable prepayment of 50% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due no later than 2 days before the event date. If the booking is made less than 2 days before the event, full payment is required upon booking.
- Set-up will not commence until full payment has been received.
Rentals
- A non-refundable full payment of 100% of the total cost is required at the time of booking.
Custom Builds
- A non-refundable prepayment of 75% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining 25% is upon delivery.
2. Cancellation and Rearrangement Policy
All
- Rooh does not provide refunds.
Events
- If weather conditions are deemed unsafe to proceed with the event, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events, the booking will be transferred and rearranged to another date at no additional cost.
3. Electricity
Events
- Rooh will utilise the venue’s power supply for any equipment requiring electricity.
4. Client-Caused Damages & Defects
Events & Rentals
- It is appreciated that there may be accidents and therefore a percentage of breakages is accounted for when booking. However, breakages of extreme quantities or large items will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Custom Builds
- Slight variations in finishes, materials, or colours may occur due to the nature of custom craftsmanship. These do not qualify as defects.
5. Liability
All
- Rooh is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the event or installation.
6. Social Media and Use of Images/Videos
All
- Rooh reserves the right to use photos and videos taken of the event/rental items/custom build in location for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.
7. Client Responsibilities
All
- The client is responsible for providing accurate event details and ensuring that the event venue/drop off location is accessible at the agreed-upon times. Any changes should be clearly communicated to Rooh as soon as possible.
- Clients who choose to collect items from the warehouse/workshop themselves assume responsibility for any transport-related damage or delays.
8. Changes to Theme
All
- Major changes to the event theme/design cannot be made once the theme/design has been agreed upon. Minor adjustments can be discussed but may incur additional charges.
9. Permits
Events
- For public spaces, when a permit is not available to obtain, the location of the event may need to be rearranged.
10. Rental Period and Extensions
Rental
- Rental items are provided for the agreed period. Extensions must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
- Items returned late will incur daily charges at the agreed rental rate.
11. Inspection and Acceptance
All
- All items and event setups will be inspected by Rooh Management prior to delivery/collection/setup. Clients must inspect items upon receipt and report any issues immediately. If any defects are reported after the team have left the venue, Rooh is not liable for any amendments.
Upon initial payment of Rooh's services, you are agreeing to all of the above terms and conditions.
